I've put my weather station online. If you're interested, check out the weather conditions at our home.

Webmail

At this time, familybrown.org offers four webmail systems. All four systems, as well as email client access, operate on the same email account--you'll see the same messages, folders, etc. You can access them using the links below. Try them all, and see which you prefer.

  • RoundCube: This is a fairly simple, lightweight webmail system, but is not terribly full-featured. It is considered to be stable code, though, so you can expect that it won't change significantly over time.
  • RainLoop: RainLoop is another lightweight webmail client. One unique feature is that it will integrate with your Dropbox account for file attachments and the like. Its integration into this server may change in the future.
  • Horde: Horde is a full-featured web application, and the application itself is mature and stable. However, its installation and integration in this server is relatively untested and therefore may change.
  • SOGo: SOGo is another groupware suite including email, address book, tasks, calendar, etc.

Email Client Setup

In addition to the webmail systems installed on familybrown.org, you may wish to use email client software like Mozilla Thunderbird or Microsoft Outlook.

Thunderbird/Outlook/etc.

Setup of these clients should be automatic. Once you enter your email address, your client should contact familybrown.org and obtain the necessary configuration information, and many other clients should do the same.

iOS/OSX Mail

If you use the Mail app on either a Macintosh computer or an iOS device (iPhone/iPad), you can download the configuration by entering your email address and password below and clicking the Download button.

Other clients

If your preferred client doesn't automatically recognize the settings, and you aren't using iOS/OSX Mail, please see the server information below:
